Threadhopping?: Yes.
Backtagging?: Double-yes.
Flirting?: Totally up for it! Bertie does this unintentionally at times, or intentionally if he's bored and in a mood to go strolling with a girl hanging on his arm. He's more for the 'traditional' chase, though. If a girl flirts with him aggressively or in a lascivious manner, he's going to back right off. Generally, if it's a guy doing it, he's going to be mortified and try to turn the conversation in any other direction. This is provided he takes notice. He's from the 1920's and guys just don't flirt with each other publicly, so it will take him a bit to twig to things unless the other man is being blatant.
Hugging?: Sure. He will be awkward and flustered unless he knows you very well and you are female.
Kissing?: Cheeks are fair game for female friends, but if you're a man he'll freak a bit. If it's anything beyond a peck from men, he'll likely go deer in the head lights on you.
Something more intimate?: GOOD LUCK. I'm totally up for it, but know that I headcanon him as a gay, repressed 1920's English gentleman.
Relationships?: See the above for anything serious. Non-serious I'm always there. Bertie's canon is rife with him getting pulled into unintended engagements. His personal code also requires that if a woman asks to be with him, he will say yes.

Punching?: Bertie's canon is slapstick. He was made to be punched.
Injury?: He was also made for amusing injuries. Anything more permanent or scarring, lemme know and we can plot!
Death?: Please talk to me, but I'm open.

Is there anything you do not want mentioned near this character?: No. Any topic, any time.
Is there anything you need us to know about interacting with this character?: He talks. A lot. He also uses jazz slang, bizarre metaphors, and turns of phrase that might make your character cock their head and go 'huh'? He is also a man who is from the 1920s and adheres more-or-less to standard Christian social values for that time, even if he's slightly more progressive than some. He is sexist, homophobic in a self-loathing way (though rarely open about that), racist (in the sense that he will say racist things due to ignorance and is readily corrected in this), and suffers from a severe case of white male privilege. If you'd like me to tone any of this down in interactions with your character, please just drop me a PM!
